Biography

Caroline Collinge is a designer and visual artist working across film, installation and performance.

Her art work has been selected for the RIBA ‘Forgotten Spaces’ Competition 2010, shortlisted for a Museumaker contemporary craft commission and exhibited at the Royal National Theatre, V & A, Latitude Festival, Thames Festival, Kings Cross Reveal Festival, Minnie Weisz Studio, Shoreditch Town Hall and TROVE.

Design work includes award winning short films and live performances at Liege Opera House, Shunt, The Arcola, Museum of Childhood, Camberwell Arts Festival, ICA, Prague Quadrennial and The Roundhouse.

She is currently undertaking PhD research at University of the Arts London into the Baroque and performance design. She previously studied design at Wimbledon School of Art and LABAN Conservatoire of Dance and has trained in writing for news journalism at the BBC. As a young playwright at the Royal Court Theatre her written work was performed in their Young Writers Festival.
